There are plenty of amazing toys on the market. For sure it isn’t easy to find an appropriate one for a newborn. Here you will find some of my favorite toys for 3-month-old, which my little daughter loves.
Rattle

Rattles have been used for babies since antiquity, so for sure is a perfect toy for a newborn. It is known that rattles help the child to develop hand-eye coordination. Make sure that the rattle is not too big for the small baby hand before buying it. Around the age of 3 months, babies start grasping objects, so the rattle should have the proper size for the baby’s hand.
Black and white toy

At the beginning of their lives, babies can’t see colors as adults. Up to the 3rd month’s babies see the world black, white, and gray. So when you are choosing a toy for a newborn it is best to buy a monochrome one, the best choice is the black and white one. Thanks to their high contrast monochrome toys are perfect for babies.
Baby night light and sound machines

Baby night light and sound machines can be in great help for the bed rituals. The music is calming and helps the baby to relax and calm down.
Soft book

Soft books are usually made out of fabric or soft plastic (those are used in the bath, so I think they are appropriate for babies at the age of 6 months). My daughter just loved her first soft book. Even now at the age of one, she is still playing with it. Soft books are perfect for eating and discovering small details and noises.
Tag blanket

Tag blanket is a small fabric toy that helps babies to explore textures, colors, and feelings with their hands. My daughter used to try the taste of each of her tag blankets.
